I previously completed my MPhil here at the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics in Oxford.

My MPhil thesis entitled “Classifier as a cue for structure building in head-final relative clauses” paved the way towards my DPhil research project in the Language and Brain Lab.

Broadly speaking, I am interested in the predictive mechanisms involved in sentence processing and memory retrieval.

Currently I am focusing on the processing of head-final relative clauses in Mandarin Chinese.

My research will mainly use experimental methods like eye-tracking, self-paced reading and probably electroencephalography (EEG).
