I now work as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Oxford BabyLab studying cognitive development in infancy within the Department of Experimental Psychology.

My research explores how language development interacts with attention and episodic memory systems, and sleep. To address these questions, I use experimental methods and a computational modelling approach.

In addition, I'm interested in bilingualism, and the characteristics of languages with pitch accents (such as the Serbian language).

My doctoral research focused on understanding the mechanisms of semantic organisation.

During my DPhil studies, I had the opportunity to work as a Research Assistant in the Language & Brain Laboratory (L&BL) in the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology & Phonetics helping to run experiments.

The L&BL conducts experiments to help us understand how the brain processes language, using a combination of eye-tracking and EEG techniques.
